Wired stump – Raw edition is the multi-coloured outdoor furniture inspired by home-made furniture manufactured of the tree boles. Both, the
stump stool and the table are optimized for a small-lot production. Their production is based on bending and welding of rebar structures and the
stool saddle is manufactured of pine wood coated with oil finish. Comparing to wooden stump, the wired stump is lighter weight and the stools
are stackable. The wired stump – Raw edition can be used for an occasional outdoor dining or a picnic, or as a stylish conservatory furniture.
Its design draws from the wire and low poly 3D models aesthetics. The original oval wood shapes were simplified and reduced into polygonal
shapes. Details as the metallic rings and unwrought welds and edges are supposed to create the impression of a cheap home-made product or a

Updated home office – addition of Samsung 40" D7000 LED display.
I spend a lot of time at this setup working from home, with the ability to VPN into the corporate network.
I’m a security expert by trade, so still undertake many security activities, but use it for a whole list of things.
I like the extra screen real estate, and together with teleport I can use my primary MBA to remotely keyboard/mouse on all the machines.
The Samsung D7000 40" is a new addition, it allows for watching media whilst working on other projects, but also I use it as a prime video conference machine – using built in Skype via the Smart TV setup – I have a 46" version in other parts of the house.
I know the majority of this kit is a luxury, but it makes for a pleasant working environment whilst at the home office, and functions very well together.
The desks themselves are pieced at this point, and when I have the time I’ll look at changing to add more desk space – but this for now is a low priority.

This room designed by John Kemble Mills was shown in American Home. With the liberal use of Aalto pieces, this is still an attractive room. Change the color to suit yourself.

The kitchen of Cathy Bailey and Robin Petravic, who own Heath Ceramics. The room has concrete countertops and stainless-steel appliances; all except the refrigerator are Craigslist finds. My guess is that’s a Bertoia barstool with a lovely vinyl cushion in sunflower. The Heath tile color might be New Mango or Caramel, although it may be custom, since, you know, these folks run the place.
*Update!* It is custom. This, according to the SF Chronicle: The couple created the vibrant backsplash using Heath overstock and imperfect tiles left over from a custom order (for a building on the University of Pennsylvania campus). Bailey installed the tiles in a staggered pattern in the kitchen to help hide discrepancies in the lengths. Although the tile is not part of the regular Heath line, the bright yellow color was added to the company’s tile palette.
